Black Mountain Performs On KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic
European and Australian Tour this Spring
On this St. Valentine’s Day, Black Mountain showed up bright and early to KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic to play a rare radio set for all the lovebirds in the Los Angeles area and beyond.
KCRW posted both video (embed above) and a stream of the 45-minute show for the masses. Spoiler: they begin with 2010’s most romantic indie rock song…
The Hair Song
Old Fangs
Wilderness Heart
Don’t Run Our Hearts Around
Let Spirits Ride
“Black Mountain now have a catalogue of songs that respect and rival their influences.”
BBC Music

“An album that shimmers as much as it bulldozes, humors as much as it rages, while flexing a more pronounced pop sensibility.”

These 10 tracks are a loving homage to a dazed and confused era of massive fuzz and feedback, thundering drums, a mood of ponderous, portentious doom and gloom bordering on the near-apocalyptic, and riffs, man, riffs.”
Jim DeRogatis, Sound Opinions

“Every thundering piece of stoner metal is matched by an acoustic reverie – a yin and yang seen in the sharing of vocals between Stephen McBean and Amber Webber.”
The Guardian
