Introducing… Blue Dream

Blue Dream started a couple of years ago. We love creating heavy psych and heavy blues riffs. The screaming solos will keep you wanting more. We put as much soul as possible into our songs and our performances. We love to play our instruments and make music, its just what we do.

Justin Sanetra-Guitar/Vocals
Danny Awisha-Drums
Anthony Cook-Guitar
Jimmy Herich-Bass

Our Influences:
Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Cream, AC/DC, Rock N’ Roll, Grunge, Psychedelia

Now listening to these guys you’d think that they have been playing for many many years but you’d be surprised to find out these guys are at the end of their high school careers. Their sound is really amazing and it’s pretty cool to think of what types of music these guys will make many years on down the road.

WNUR 89.3fm’s review on Blue Dream

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked Blue Dream. Three of the four members are still in high school. But skill and musicianship has no age requirement; WNUR of all organizations recognizes that fact. So, they showed up to the station (along with their dad who had to drive them here!) and proceeded to jam for an hour and a half. Blue Dream channels the heavy psychedelia and jam band-iness of the early 70s masters (The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, Cream, etc.) and manages to dispel any preconception of what a “high school band” should sound like. Though they may be too young to patronize the bars and clubs that they are performing at, they show a definite hold and comfortability with their music and their instruments, and when the lights are low, you might think that it was Derek Trucks or Eric Clapton, and not Blue Dream, up on the stage.Blue Dream is Justin Sanetra, Danny Awisha, Jimmy Herich, and Anthony Cook.
