Introducing… Redneck Remedy

Residing from Chicago’s Southland in Kankakee, IL USA Redneck Remedy is a four piece Southern Fried Groove Metal band that plays for the love of music and sanity. Since the band evolved in 2006 Redneck Remedy has played countless venues in the Chicago Land area, Central Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, to name a few and has proven to be a crowd favorite wherever they go. Redneck Remedy has been fortunate to share stages and venues with National and International Touring Bands such as Black Label Society, Seether, Hellyeah, Clutch, Corrosion of Conformity, Texas Hippie Coalition and many, many more. With great lyrics from songs like “Dig Me A Hole” “Bleed” and “Consequences” to the partying/drinking songs of “Dead & Still Boozin” and “All For Another Day” Redneck Remedy gives the listeners and concert goers a sense of connection with the band and a release on everyday life, not to mention the musical ability of the band as a whole is fantastic. With the 2009 self-released, self-titled 14 track album Redneck Remedy, Redneck Remedy has toured as often as possible to build its fan base dubbed “The Shotgun Crew” for their loudness and enthusiasm for the band helped form the band to what it is today. Redneck Remedy has also started writing for their second album with plans to release it in 2011. I have had the honor of meeting these guys a few years ago and also catching their set before a Clutch show. Awesome and wicked stuff. Fans of Pantera, Down, COC and just about any type of NOLA band are going to really dig these guys.
