April 26, 2012, Philadelphia — Royal Thunder, the Atlanta-based quartet who release their debut album CVI on May 22 (Relapse Records), recently recorded an in-studio performance of “Sleeping Witch” for indieATL, which can be viewed at (or below).
“Filming with indieATL was a very pleasant, professional experience,” said Mlny Parsonz, vocalist and guitar player for Royal Thunder.  “We are grateful to have been considered for this amazing experience. The end result is stellar footage.”  Three additional songs were filmed during the session, which will be made available soon.
The band is currently on tour with Baroness and have a hometown show on May 2 as part of Decibel Magazine’s first national tour.  Royal Thunder will be announcing additional dates shortly.  Tour dates are:
April 26  St. Louis, MO  Firebird *
April 27  Nashville, TN  The End *
May 2  Atlanta, GA  The Masquerade

Royal Thunder’s CVI will be streaming in its entirely via AOL Spinner beginning May 21 for one week.  The band is currently giving fans an opportunity to hear another track from the forthcoming album via a lyric video for “Whispering World,” which can be found on Royal Thunder’s Facebook page (  Pre-orders for CVI are available here:
indieATL is a video partner to Georgia State University’s radio station, WRAS 88.5.
