The Heavy Eyes are back with a 2 track demo from their winter recording sessions. It’s only 2 songs (thus the “2”) but they already shows signs of a refined sound. Excellent music as always!

Black Kite was formed in spring 2009 under the name The Stosterones when Rasmus, Martin and Sulo started playing together and we found our complete line up when Joakim joined in early 2010.
In 2011 Martin left and we have since recruited Jens on guitar. We are looking forward to seeing you all at the concerts!

Early this week Trippy Wicked & the Cosmic Children of the Knight released their latest album, Going Home. I have only listened to the first few tracks so far but they kick some serious ass. From what I have listened to, I love the hard rock, the glorious riffs and catchy lyrics. This is one of those “must get” downloads. After you download it, make sure you order up a CD or LP version.

DÖDAREN was formed late 2010 by four devoted musicians in Gothenburg, Sweden. Their first EP, Flyttar In, was quickly compared to larger and more influential bands in the margins of alternative rock and gathered dedicated fans throughout the world. Eric, Martin, Fredrik and Jon all have history in several different genres ranging from the softest blues to the hardest hardcore.

Snail formed in 1992 consisting of singer Mark Johnson, bassist Matt Lynch and drummer Marty Dodson. In 1993 they recorded their Self-Titled album at Razor’s Edge Studio (the birthplace of  Sleep’s Holy Mountain) in San Francisco, CA. Snail’s second release was a 5-song EP called “All Channels Are Open.” Reunited in 2008, Snail released “Blood” with newly added guitarist Eric Clausen.

I’ve had this album for a while now and I can say it seriously kicks a lot of ass. It’s been a while since I listened to older material so I probably wouldn’t be the best person in the world to compare past albums to the new album. I will however say, if you like your riffs heavy and catchy and want an explosive eargasim, Terminus by Snail is what you want!

Freak Out With The Psychotomimetic Sounds Of Los Tentakills A Down And Dirty Lo-Fi Patchwork Intensification Of Psychedelia, Garage And Surf Reverberations.Los Tentakills have created uncommon devious music with the emphasis on playing from the heart in a concerted effort to formulate an affinity with you and perchance set the windmills of your mind turnabout in the process.

Whitey plays blues based rock and roll with a cool stoner vibe. Lots of grooves and monster riffs make this one a huge find. Reminds me a bit of Five Horse Johnson.
