Banda De La Muerte New Album Released; Stream In Full: “Pulso De Una Mente Maldita”
Banda de la Muerte are thrilled to announce the official release of their second album “Pulso de una Mente Maldita”. Recorded in January 2012 at La Nave de Oseberg studio, Buenos Aires and with stunning cover art drawn by Falu Carolei, the album is a collection of groovy bass and solid riff driven tracks, catchy tunes and raw punk energy. The band has come a long way since the release of their debut self-titled album, constantly evolving in sound and songwriting and gaining far reaching and well deserved recognition in the Argentinean and South American underground heavy music scene.
“Pulso de una Mente Maldita” can currently be streamed and downloaded on the Banda de la Muerte Bandcamp page (http://bandadelamuerte.bandcamp.com/). The record will also be released as a limited edition of 500 12” black vinyl copies and will be available for fans in Europe and North America via Clear Spot (http://www.clearspot.nl/) on April 20th and in South America via Zonda Records in May.
On May 16th Roxy Live Club in Buenos Aires will host the official album release party in their home country Argentina. Banda de la Muerte are currently touring Europe and will be playing gigs in The Netherlands, UK, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany.

Bandcamp Rcommendations 1/26/2012
Is it Thursday already? Yes, in fact, it’s the LAST Thursday this month. The month flew by pretty quickly. I’m going to stop beating around the bush. All FREE music. Support, support, support and support. If you like what you hear, give back in any way you can. Hell even a “like” on their Facebook page and telling all your friends works when all else fails. Anyways, the music, there are a few instrumentals this week. Lets give the vocalists some rest shall we?
Bear Baiting is the brainchild of bassists Matt Boylan (Cuneiform) and Dennis Valles (Helen 55). The two met at a mutual friend’s show and discussed a 2 bass project. Shortly after, the two got together and started writing material. Valles decided to program all the drums, and take a more DIY approach, tracking and mixing everything. We’re proud of our experiment, and hope you enjoy as well.Bear Baiting play instrumental post rock and shoegaze blend of music. Very interesting and very good stuff indeed.

Bandcamp Recommendations 12/15/2011
I may take a break for the next two weeks from this. I haven’t decided yet. For now though, here’s this weeks finds.
Sauntering in from the West Coast, The Rattlesnake Aces’ first, full-length release, is close to being the perfect debut: killer hooks delivered with chest-beating swagger.
Featuring members of: Unwritten Law and Agent 51, this San Diego quintet’s ‘Wreck’n’Roll’ formula is taking the much-recycled, riff-and-raunch fanfare of old, and rebranding it with renewed vigour and purpose. From the ZZ-Top-tinged, ‘Outlaw Girl: You’re Super Band’ ‘(‘Sleeping Bag’, anyone?), to the rustic, neo-psychedelia-tinged stomp of ‘Astral Dogs’…… (full review here)
